Dear FLTDC member:

It’s that time of the year again:  our 43rd annual conference is coming up and it is time to register and renew your membership.  As always, your Board is working hard to organize what promises to be a great event. It will take place November 3RD, 2025, at Miami Dade College, North Campus 11380 N.W. 27 Ave. Building 3, The conference theme is:

WORLD LANGUAGE TEACHERS: BRIDGING KNOWLEDGE, CULTURES AND LIFE EXPERIENCES.

Enclosed you will find the conference registration form which includes the 2025-2026 membership. Your dues cover membership for a full calendar year from October to October on a school calendar year. Please keep in mind that for your students to participate in the Dade County competitions, any event sponsored by FLTDC and the FLTDC Scholarships, the sponsoring teacher (the teacher of the student who is participating) must be a current member of the FLTDC. There is also a conference proposal form, should you be interested in presenting a workshop. This is a great way to get involved and to fulfill your IPEGS.  And don’t forget that you must also register for this professional development online, to receive master plan points. (The conference has been posted in Frontline Education). If you only wish to renew your membership, please find the form on our website or email us, and a form will be sent to you.

I urge you to send in the conference registration at your earliest convenience.  Fill out the information accurately in order for us to have the correct data.  Remember that we cannot accept purchase orders or credit card payments.  As a suggestion to get this financed, you can try your school’s Tittle I, PTSA or ESSAC AND OF COURSE YOUR PRINCIPAL as sources to cover your registration fee.
